J65 Restaurant is the all-day dining restaurant of Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore serving Singaporean, Pan-Asian and Western dishes in a buffet or a la carte setting. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and welcomes both checked-in and walk-in guests.

Consistent with the Hotel Jen brand, the interior of J65 playfully combines colors, patterns and textures, creating a very relaxed and modern ambiance. Combined with the friendly service of its staff, J65 is a perfect venue for casual dining among friends, families and colleagues.

In addition to its international buffets, J65 periodically offers especially themed buffets on certain festivals and celebrations. J65 also highlights the abundance of seafood in Singapore through seafood-themed buffets.

► BREAKFAST BUFFET AT J65 RESTAURANT

The breakfast buffet at J65 is so far one of my most favorite in Singapore because of the variety of local Malay, Indian and Chinese cuisines included in the spread. For first time visitors to Singapore, the breakfast buffet at J65 will be a good introduction to Singaporean cuisine.

Singaporean Laksa | J65 Resturant |
While the whole breakfast buffet spread also included Continental and Western dishes, I only limited my choices to the local breakfast items. I started my breakfast with a bowl of Singaporean Laksa. A live cooking station is dedicated to this iconic noodle dish.

Nasi Lemak & Mee Goreng | J65 Restaurant |
Nasi Lemak is another must-try dish from the buffet spread. It is basically a combination of rice cooked in young coconut milk and paired with meat viand, boild eggs, fresh vegetables, roasted peanuts and a serving of sambal on the side. In my case, I also added a small serving of Mee Goreng on my plate

Prata & Dhal Curry | J65 Restaurant |
Another popular breakfast dish in Singapore is prata which is paired with a variety of dipping sauces. This one on the photo is prata paired with dhal (lentil) curry. It can also be paired with other curries. For your drink, don't forget to order teh tarik.
