Next to the salad station is the Dim Sum station. This is one of the busiest stations of the buffet since dim sum is a popular breakfast item here in Hong Kong. Empty bamboo steamers are immediately replenished.

Buffet breakfast is available daily from 6:30am to 10:00am. Business travelers can take advantage of the early opening of the buffet at 6:30am to make it to their work on time. Tourists, on the other hand, have more flexibility and can either have early or late breakfast, depending on their travel itinerary. Here are some of the dishes we had for breakfast during our stay at Kowloon Shangri-La Hong Kong.

Cafe Kool makes its own dim sum which is popular among Chinese guests. Dim sum is best paired with hot tea.

Egg noodles, fish balls, squid balls, and chicken soup is already a filling meal. The soup is also perfect to warm your tummy, especially during the cold months in Hong Kong.

Eggs cooked to your preference. We had sunny side eggs which we paired with assorted bread.

On the sweet side, I had a chocolate croissant and bread & butter pudding with vanilla sauce. Perfect with freshly brewed coffee.

English Breakfast of beans, scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown and buttered vegetables. I paired it with a bowl of fresh cut fruits and a glass of fresh orange juice.
