  • Market 39 - the all-day dining restaurant located at the lobby level serving Vietnamese, Pan-Asian and Western cuisines, open daily for buffet breakfast, lunch and for dinner, as well as a la carte dining
  • Yu Chu - the in-house Chinese restaurant serving Cantonese and Pekingese cuisines freshly prepared at the restaurant's theater kitchens

Guests who booked a room package which includes breakfast, as well as guests staying in a Club InterContinental Room or any of the suites, will be treated with a wide selection local, Asian and Western dishes served at the breakfast buffet spread of Market 39.

Must-try are the classic Vietnamese soup dishes phở gà (chicken noodle soup) and phở bò (beef noodle soup) which are freshly prepared at the noodle station. Also, don't miss the bò kho (beef stew) which goes well with bánh (Vietnamese baguette) or steamed rice.

Your breakfast at Market 39 won't be complete without Vietnamese coffee, available as cà phê sữa nóng (hot) or as cà phê sữa đá (cold).

Ho Chi Minh City Hall | Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

InterContinental Saigon is located some 7.5 kilometers away from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the main international and domestic airport of Ho Chi Minh City.

  • International Flights - several full-service and low-cost airlines serve daily flights to Ho Chi Minh City coming from key cities around Asia such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, Seoul-Incheon, Bangkok, Manila and Jakarta
  • Domestic Flights - coming from other cities in Vietnam, travelers can also take any domestic flight into Ho Chi Minh City via Vietnam Airlines (full-service airline) or VietJet Air (low-cost airline)
  • Airport Transfer - the easiest way to get to the hotel from the airport is by booking a GrabCar using the Grab mobile application. Fare is about VND200,000 (USD9.00) and travel time is about 40 minutes. If you need internet connection for your mobile phone, there are stores selling SIM cards at the airport's arrival area. If you still prefer to take a taxi, make sure you take one from the taxi queue located on the left side of the arrival area. Vinasun Taxi and Mailinh Group are the two most trusted taxi companies in Ho Chi Minh City. Do not entertain the drivers who would approach you at the arrival area
  • Moving Around - most drivers in Ho Chi Minh City do not speak English, so I highly recommend that you take GrabCar wherever you go. Fare with GrabCar is also, most of the time, cheaper than metered taxis. You can choose to pay in cash directly to the Grab driver (most recommended) or with a credit card using the Grab app. If there is no choice but to take a taxi, again I recommend Vinasun Taxi or Mailinh Group. Coming from the hotel, you can ask the concierge to instruct the taxi driver where to bring you. It will also be handy to bring a business card of the hotel with you, which you can show to the taxi driver.
