W Suzhou is located in the Suzhou Industrial Park, a commercial park filled with modern skyscrapers, high-end malls and iconic sculptures, and I think this modern face of Suzhou is very well expressed in the cutting-edge design of The Kitchen Table.

Arriving in Suzhou from an early morning flight, dining here at The Kitchen Table for the semi-buffet lunch was a good idea since I did not have a proper breakfast at the airport. I started my meal with some steamed dumplings, as well as cold cuts and smoked fish from the Charcuterie Station.

Aozao Noodle with Red Broth | The Kitchen Table, W Suzhou

I then ordered grilled salmon from the a la carte lunch menu and paired it with a noodle dish. The Noodle Station featured Aozao Noodles, a local noodle dish popular in Suzhou. I had the version with red broth.

Assorted Desserts | The Kitchen Table, W Suzhou

I ended my meal with an assortment of cakes, chocolates and macarons. Color coordination went hand in hand with the matching flavors ranging from strawberries, blueberries, rose and dark chocolates. They all tasted as good as much as how they looked good. My favorite were the macarons.

Consistent with my dining experience at The Kitchen Table (W Taipei) and Flock (W Kuala Lumpur), service here at W Suzhou's The Kitchen Table was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They make sure you are having an enjoyable and comfortable dining experience by providing recommendations and assistance.
