The Lounge is the lobby lounge and bar of the newly opened Sheraton Manila Hotel. Located on the ground floor of the hotel, The Lounge caters to both dining guests and checked-in hotel guests. It is a welcome addition to the growing number of hotel bars and lounges in the Resorts World Manila complex.

The Lounge has plenty of seating areas that stretches the whole length of the space. At daytime, The Lounge serves as an ideal venue for casual meetings over coffee, tea and light snacks. At night-time, The Lounge becomes a destination for cocktails, wine and premium liquor and spirits.

If you are a coffee lover, you should definitely try the espresso based beverages here at The Lounge. I tried their cappuccino and it has a wonderful aroma and was well bodied and full of flavor.

The Lounge serves classic cocktails such as cosmopolitan, mai tai and long island iced tea, and also offers signature cocktails created by their in-house mixologist. We tried some of their signature cocktails that feature locally sourced ingredients.

The Salty Hound is a gin-based cocktail consisting of Beefeater Gin mixed with fresh lemon juice and Davao pomelo, and finally sprinkled with smoked rock sea salt.

The Midnight Fizz is a whiskey-based cocktail using Chivas 12 mixed with fresh calamansi juice, sweetened with lemongrass-infused syrup, plus creme de violette for added flavor and fragrance.

My favorite is the Dark Roast which is a rum-based cocktail with Bacardi Dark Rum, Kahlua, double espresso, vanilla syrup, egg white for the froth and topped with homemade coffee bitters.

We will definitely be back to try the other signature cocktails. It's also interesting to sample some of the snacks being offered here at The Lounge.
