Although the mall was easily accessible from the hotel, I find restaurants there too crowded and noisy to my preference. This made me decide to dine exclusively at the hotel's Casa Restaurant. The a la carte menu features Filipino and Spanish dishes. When I arrived at the hotel, I decided to have lunch first before checking-in for my stay. Here are some of the dishes I tried that day.

For my appetizer, I ordered the Caesar Salad. The greens were crunchy and tasted very fresh. The salad dressing has a well-balanced saltiness and sourness. It was generously topped with bacon bits and freshly shaved Parmesan cheese.

For my main dish, I was recommended to try the Beef Salpicao. The dish had huge chunks of beef which were excellently marinated before cooking. No mushroom was added as extender and the garlic flavor was not overpowering. The dish was served with mashed potato. The serving size is actually good enough for two persons to share. I suggest ordering garlic rice on the side.

Finally, for dessert, I chose the Strawberry Cheesecake. I love the concept of combining a cheesecake and strawberry shortcake. The creamy topping word well in reducing the sourness of the cheesecake. This resulted in a refreshingly creamy and not overly sweet dessert.
