Mercure Kyoto Station Is Now Open

Accor announces the opening of the first Mercure hotel in the Kansai Region, increasing the presence of the brand across six locations in Japan. Mercure Kyoto Station is just an eight-minute walk from the Central Gate of JR Kyoto Station, making it an ideal base for exploring Japan's ancient capital of Kyoto.



True to its brand proposition, Mercure Kyoto Station is filled with design elements and motifs inspired by the Heian period in classical Japanese history. Welcoming guests at the main lobby are the origami kemari made from handmade Japanese paper and the colorful design wall featuring blown glass spheres.
