UPDATE as of 20 July 2023 -- Four Points by Sheraton Palawan Sabang Beach is set to open in October 2023. It will feature Deluxe Rooms and Suites, an all-day dining restaurant (Evolution), and an Italian Restaurant (Il Fiore). This was announced on the official website of the resort. As of this writing, rooms are not yet available for booking.

Four Points by Sheraton Palawan launched its new Facebook Page @FourPointsPalawan on 26 May 2023. According to insider sources, Four Points by Sheraton Palawan would open sometime in Q3/Q4 of 2023.

Back in August 2021, we reported that Sheridan Beach Resort and Spa will be renovated and converted into Four Points by Sheraton Palawan Sabang Beach. We already expected this in 2019 as mentioned in our article Marriott International Expands in the Philippines with new Properties and Brands opening until 2024. The conversion was first announced by Marriott International in a September 2019 press release.

We are able to confirm this when the Facebook page of Sheridan Beach Resort and Spa changed its name to Four Points by Sheraton Palawan. The profile photo was also replaced with the official logo of Four Points by Sheraton Palawan.

In addition to Palawan, in which other locations in the Philippines do you think Four Points by Sheraton should also open? I vote for Mactan, Panglao, and Siargao.

Four Points by Sheraton Palawan Sabang Beach will be situated near Sabang Port, the jumping-off point for the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park.
