Writers Bar is the lobby lounge of Raffles Makati serving afternoon tea, light snacks, bespoke evening entrées, and classic and artisanal cocktails. Writers Bar is open daily and welcomes both in-house and outside guests. Prior reservation is required.

Writers Bar is located on the lobby level of Raffles Makati. When you enter the lobby, just walk past the seating area into the lounge behind the floor-to-ceiling shelves. A Writers Bar hostess will assist you with your table reservation.
Afternoon Tea at Writers Bar
The Honeyholic Afternoon Tea is the newest themed afternoon tea offering of Writers Bar available for the months of August to September 2022. The Honeyholic Afternoon Te set features canapès, cakes, pastries, and drinks made with honey harvested from Raffles Makati’s own bee farm. Read more ►
Dining Area
Writers Bar has tables that can seat solo diners, couples, and groups of three to six persons. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring a lot of natural light throughout the day. The two chandeliers set a cozy and intimate mood in the evening.
The entire space is surrounded by bookshelves and artworks, design elements inspired by the original Writers Bar at Raffles Singapore. Live piano music is played at Writers from the afternoon until it closes.
In-house guests at Raffles Makati enjoy complimentary afternoon tea and evening cocktails (for up to two persons) during the whole length of their stay. This benefit is one of the many reasons why we love going on staycations at Raffles Makati.
Please do note that smart casual attire is strictly observed here at Writers Bar. In addition, children 12 years old and below are allowed inside the Writers Bar. Furthermore, Accor Plus member discounts do not apply here at Writers Bar.
