Hotel Royal Hoi An - MGallery is a luxury boutique hotel located along the banks of the Thu Bon River and within short walking distance of the old quarter of Hoi An, Vietnam. The hotel features elegantly designed rooms and suites, four dining outlets, an executive lounge, two swimming pools, a fitness center, and a spa.
The hotel is inspired by the love story between Princess Ngoc Hoa, a member of the native Hue royal family, and Sotaro Araki, a Japanese merchant from Nagasaki. Princess Ngoc Hoa took the Japanese name Wakaku after marrying Sotaro. This union is expressed in the hotel’s architecture and interior design.

Hotel Royal Hoi An - MGallery has a total of 187 luxurious rooms and suites housed in the hotel’s two distinctive buildings. Guests can choose from five categories of accommodation that are available at both Sotaro Building and Wakaku Building.
The Sotaro Building features a traditional Japanese design with Indochine accent pieces. Key design features are dark wood floors, bold colors, latticework, and oriental furniture.
The Wakaku Building features a contemporary Vietnamese aesthetic with graceful curves and elegant furnishings. Highlights are the bright interior, curved ceiling, and modern Western-style furniture.

The Grand Deluxe Room at the Wakaku Building measures 34 square meters and is available king bed or two twin beds. The room has a private balcony overlooking the river. Amenities include a work desk, sitting area, minibar, freestanding bathtub, and separate walk-in shower.

Breakfast Buffet
The daily breakfast buffet at Hotel Royal Hoi An - MGallery is available at Faifo Café from 6:30am to 10:30am. The breakfast buffet spread encompasses a variety of Continental, Western, Vietnamese, and Asian delicacies. There are live cooking stations serving Vietnamese noodle soup and egg dishes. The Deck

Swimming Pools
The Sotaro Building has an outdoor swimming pool located on the ground floor. The pool is designed in Art Nouveau style, evoking the golden days of the Belle Époque in French Indochina. Drinks and snacks can be ordered from the River Bar.
The Wakaku Building features a rooftop pool with panoramic views of Hoi An. This is also the best spot to watch the sunrise and the sunset. Drinks and snacks are also served here.
Fitness & Welness Facilities
Guests staying at Hotel Royal Hoi An - MGallery enjoy complimentary use of the hotel’s fitness center. It features treadmills, a stationary bicycle, a strider, free weights, and strength-training machines. The fitness center is located on the ground floor of Sotaro Building and is open 24/7. The best way to end a day of exploring Hoi An is with a rejuvenating massage at Woosah Spa. They offer a variety of body massages, facials, and body treatments. The spa has treatment rooms for individuals and couples. Woosah Spa is open daily from 9:00am to 9:00pm.
Transportation
Hotel Royal Hoi An - MGallery is located some 35 km from Da Nang International Airport, the main domestic and international gateway for travelers to Da Nang, Hoi An, and Hue.
Hotel Transport - The most convenient way to travel between the airport and Hotel Royal Hoi An - MGallery is to book the hotel’s airport transport. Roundtrip pick-up and drop-off service starts at VND 1,160,000++ for a regular car. Travel time is around 45 minutes.
Moving Around - I recommend using the GRAB ride-hailing app when traveling around Hoi An. Fares upfront when you book a ride. You can choose between a GrabCar (private car) or a GrabBike (motorbike).
