LUZVIMINDA | a Buffet of Filipino Heirloom Dishes at F1 Hotel Manila



For the month of June, F1 Hotel Manila (Philippines) will be featuring an Independence Day themed buffet at its F All Day Dining Restaurant which will showcase heirloom dishes from around the Philippines. The hotel will be collaborating with an all-female roster of culinary masters for this annual food festival dubbed as LUZVIMINDA.



Chef Nancy "Adobo Queen" Reyes Lumen will be sharing heirloom dishes from Luzon including an Adobo-flavored Roast Pork, Mechado ni Aling Asiang and Sta. Cruz Kesong Puti Cheesecake.

Let Iloilo's Chef Pauline Gorriceta Banusing tickle your palate with dishes from the Visayas including our favorite Kadios Baboy Langka (KBL) and La Paz Batchoy.

Bringing the fresh flavors of Mindanao is Chef Maria Kristina Colantes of Davao. She will be showcasing the famous kinilaw of Davao using the freshest tuna and pomelo, as well as the Seafood Sinigang sa Mangosteen.

F1 Hotel Manila's Executive Chef Decker Gokioco will also be highlighting the Tausug dish Chicken Piyanggang which he learned to prepare from his mom who is from Jolo, Sulu.

Just like in any fiesta in the Philippines, we end our meals with sweets so don't forget to save space for dessert such as halo-halo, cakes and kakanin.
