InterContinental Singapore is a five-star luxury hotel located in the Bugis heritage district of Singapore. InterContinental Singapore forms part of the Bugis Junction integrated development which includes a shopping mall and an office building. The property is also linked to the Bugis MRT Station, making InterContinental Singapore an ideal accommodation for both business and leisure travelers.
Arriving at the hotel's reception lobby felt like stepping into a Peranakan house. The floor tiles and arches give the space an old-world feel while the furniture and accent pieces add a touch of modernity to the interior. Check-in was straightforward and efficient. After I got my keycards, I was assisted by the concierge to my room.

Airport Transfers
- Limousine Service - The most convenient way to get to the hotel from the airport is to book the hotel's limousine service. A hotel ambassador will welcome you at the airport and will assist you through the arrival procedure.
- Grab - I personally prefer to book a sedan via the Grab application. Rates are fixed upon booking your ride.
- Taxi - I haven't tried taking a taxi from the airport to the city, but based on my experience with city taxis, I personally prefer Grab over Taxi.
- MRT - From the airport, you can take the MRT East-West Line to Bugis MRT Station. The hotel is just a five-minute walk away from Bugis MRT Station.
