Dockyard at Kerry Hotel Hong Kong

Dockyard is a gourmet food hall concept which features a diverse selection of Asian cuisines under one roof. Located next to the newly opened Kerry Hotel Hong Kong, Dockyard has become a dining destination not only to hotel guests and tourists, but also to the locals living or working in the Hung Hom area.

There are currently ten kiosks operating in Dockyard serving a variety of cuisines such as Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese and Indian, with each kiosk offering a diverse selection of specialty dishes. An ultimate foodie destination, diners may cross-order among the different kiosks and pay in a single bill.

The layout is very spacious and the interior design is very modern. It has a very casual vibe that encourages guests to relax and unwind while enjoying their food. There is even an area where diners can enjoy games such as table football.

Dockyard's ordering and payment systems are fully digital and integrated into a mobile application. You wont see a physical printed menu on your table. Rather, guests will have to download the Dockyard application to browse the menu. Free WiFi connection is available.

When arriving at Dockyard, the first thing you need to do is to choose your table. A sticker on your table indicates your table number printed under the QR code. If you choose to dine in, the first step is to enter your table number either by scanning the QR Code or manually typing it in the app. Just select Eat Here from the top menu.

To order, just select a kiosk and choose the dishes you want. Payment can be done by credit card via the application, or you can also charge the bill to your hotel room (for in-house guests of Kerry Hotel Hong Kong). You can also pay in cash at the cashier. Once payment is done, your food will be delivered in 10-15 minutes. Here are some of the dishes I tried:

Beef Brisket Dan Dan Noodles by Sister Wah Noddle - generous portions of beef brisket, rich and spicy broth with hints of peanut and sesame, perfect for the cool weather

Chicken Karaage by Yamaan - tender and juicy chicken thigh with a flavorful karaage coating, served with Japanese mayonnaise which balances all the flavors

Shrimp & Meat Steamed King Dumpling by Dongsan Dumpling - three huge pieces of their signature Korean dumplings, each was densely packed with minced pork, shrimp and herbs, very filling and satisfying
