Red Oven is the all-day dining restaurant of SO Sofitel Bangkok serving both local Thai and international cuisines. Inspired by Bangkok's street food markets, Red Oven features nine live cooking stations where dishes are freshly prepared by the restaurant's culinary team.
The centerpiece of the restaurant is the red Molteni oven. It was custom-made according to the specifications and requirements of the restaurant. Red is the chosen color to illustrate the fire element, one of the five elements that inspired the design of the hotel.
Red Oven is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can either enjoy the wide selection of dishes of the international buffet spread or order gourmet dishes and premium drinks from the a la carte menu. Red Oven also serves as the main breakfast venue of SO Sofitel Bangkok.

The buffet spread is highlighted by the extensive selection of Thai, Japanese, Italian and French dishes. Red Oven is also very popular for its weekend seafood buffet. The Saturday from the Bay features the freshest lobsters, river prawns, scallops and crabs. The restaurant also offers premium Japanese dishes available from the buffet or a la carte menu.

The Breakfast Buffet at SO Sofitel Bangkok is served daily from 6:30am to 10:30am at Red Oven. Guests who booked a breakfast-inclusive package enjoy daily breakfast buffet for up to two persons. Guests with access to the Club Signature (executive lounge), as well as Platinum members, can also choose to have the daily breakfast buffet here at Red Oven.
The breakfast buffet spread at Red Oven includes continental items, bread and pastries, fresh fruits and salads, Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Western hot dishes. There are also live cooking stations where guests can order egg dishes and noodle soup dishes. Free-flowing coffee, espresso, tea, and chilled fruit juices are also included in the buffet.
