Nara Prefecture does not have its own airport. International guests visiting Nara will most likely arrive at Kansai International Airport (KIX). JW Marriott Hotel Nara currently does not provide a shuttle service from Kansai Airport to the hotel. There are three options for travelers:
From Kansai International Airport
- Airport Limousine Bus - The airport bus connects Kansai Airport directly to JR Nara Railway Station. The trip takes 90 minutes while the ticket costs JPY2,500. From JR Nara Railway Station, guests can take a taxi going to the hotel.
- Japan Railways (JR) - The train connects Kansai Airport to JP Nara Railway Station. This is a faster option, taking only 75 minutes. The ticket costs JPY2,800. From JR Nara Railway Statio, guests can take a taxi going to the hotel.
From Osaka Namba Station
- Kintetsu Train Line - Guests coming from Osaka-Namba Station can take the Kintetsu Train Line Rapid Express from Namba Station to Shin-Omiya Station in Nara. The train trip takes 35 minutes and the ticket costs JPY570. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Shin-Omiya Station.
