The Tower Wing Premier Room is one of three lead-in guestroom categories of Edsa Shangri-La Manila. Located in the Tower Wing, this room has a quarter circle shape and measures 45 square meters. The Tower Wing Premier Room features a spacious living space with panoramic views of the Ortigas Center cityscape.
Here is the view from Room 1327 facing San Miguel Corporation headquarters and SM Megamall. We booked the Bonus Choice Package for this stay. The package included a hotel credit of ₱3,000 consumable during the whole stay. It can be used for restaurant dining and in-room dining.
Health & Safety Measures
We were provided with a Shangri-La Self Care Kit during our most recent stay at Edsa Shangri-La Manila. This is just one of the in-room safety standards and precautionary measures put in place by Edsa Shangri-La Manila in line with its Shangri-La Cares program:
- Every guest is provided with a self-care kit consisting of a hand sanitizer, an all-purpose disinfectant spray, alcohol wet wipes, and a face mask.
- Bottled drinks and snacks will no longer be available in the minibar. Guests can instead order drinks and snacks from in-room dining service.
- Room attendants will only clean the room in the absence of guests to minimize face-to-face contact.
- Only registered guests are allowed to enter the rooms.
Welcome Amenities
Golden Circle members staying at Edsa Shangri-La Manila will receive a Funky Monkey chocolate bar which temporarily replaces fresh fruits as standard welcome amenity. Jade and Diamond members are also entitled to additional welcome amenities.

Room Features
As mentioned earlier, the room has a quarter circle shape and the entire curved side of the room is lined with glass window wall. This allows plenty of natural light into the room making it feel airy. The airconditioning also worked perfectly to keep the in-room temperature within the comfortable range of 18°C-22°C.
The Tower Wing Premier Room is furnished with a king-size bed, a two-seater sofa, and a work desk with swivel chair. I was officially working from hotel during this stay so I spent most of my time at the work desk. Complimentary wifi internet was fast enough to support voice and video conferencing via Microsoft Teams.
Minibars here at Edsa Shangri-La Manila are kept empty in line with the hotel's enhanced health and safety protocols. Guests can instead order drinks from in-room dining service. Coffee/tea making facility is still provided together with Zesta tea bags, instant coffee, and bottled water.
What I love the most about workations is the convenience of having a warm shower right after I finish working. From the bathroom, I can go straight to my comfortable bed for that much needed eight-hour sleep.
If you find yourself staying in this room for a week-long business stay or staycation, there is enough space in the wardrobe to hang your clothes. There are also compartments for your folded clothes. The bathrobes, bedroom slippers, the iron and ironing board are also stored in the wardrobe cabinet.
I also love how spacious the bathroom is. It has a single vanity basin, a separate bathtub, and a walk-in shower. The toilet is fitted with a bidet seat cover. Fresh and clean towels are generously provided.
The walk-in shower is fitted with handheld and rainfall showerheads. There's also a marble-topped shower seat for a more comfortable scrubbing. Water pressure was strong throughout our stay and hot water was available almost instantaneously.
Guests staying in a Tower Wing Premier Room are provided with the standard Shangri-La Crisp Mint body and bath amenities consisting of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body soap.
In-Room Breakfast
I don't regret booking the Tower Wing Premier Room. With so much free space inside the room, it was very convenient to set up the in-room dining trolley. During this stay, I used some of my hotel dining credits for in-room breakfast.
I ordered The Filipino Almusal set menu and some items from the a la cart menu. Service was very efficient and as promised, our breakfast was delivered to our room in 30 minutes. Read more ►
