The 11th property of The Ascott Limited in the Philippines
The Ascott Limited Philippines today announced the opening of Somerset Central Salcedo Makati. The property has a total of 285 serviced apartments ranging from a studio unit to a three-bedroom unit. In this article, we give you a preview of the Studio, Studio Premier, and One-Bedroom Deluxe apartments.
Please do note that Somerset Central Salcedo Makati will initially operate as a quarantine hotel accommodating balikbayans and foreigners allowed entry into the Philippines. The property will soon transition into a multiple-use to accommodate staycations and leisure stays.
Studio
The Studio apartment measures 24.3-24.5 square meters and is available in a king or twin beds configuration. It can accommodate up to two guests and features a kitchenette, a private bathroom, and a work desk.
The sleeping area is equipped with a flat-screen television with cable channels. There is a water dispenser placed next to the work desk. Complimentary wifi internet is available inside the room.
The closet cabinet is located next to the main door. There is enough storage space for a week-long business stay or quarantine stay. Bathrobes and bedroom slippers are also provided. The in-room electronic safe, steam iron and ironing board are also stored here.
The kitchenette features an electric kettle, a microwave oven, and a bread toaster. There is also a mini refrigerator where you can store bottled beverages, cooked food, and fresh fruits. Rice cooker is also available upon request. For your dining convenience, crockery, cutlery, utensils, and glassware are also provided.
The bathroom has a single vanity, a toilet with bidet spray, and a separate walk-in shower fitted with a rainfall showerhead and a handheld showerhead. Bath amenities are provided in refillable pump dispensers.
Studio Premier
The Studio Premier apartment measures 40.2-42.5 square meters and is available in a king or twin beds configuration. It can accommodate up to two guests and features a fully-equipped kitchenette, a washing machine, a private bathroom, a work desk, and a dining table.
The sleeping area is equipped with a flat-screen television with cable channels. There is a water dispenser placed next to the work desk. Complimentary wifi internet is available inside the room.
There is a two-seater sofa placed at the edge of the bed while a round table serves as a dining table or an alternate work desk. There is a closet cabinet located next to the television while a luggage rack is placed beside the work desk.
More storage space is available in the closet cabinets next to the bed making this room ideal for long-term stays. Bathrobes and bedroom slippers are also provided. The in-room electronic safe, steam iron and ironing board are also stored here.
Desk-level power outlets are conveniently located next to the bed and by the work desk. Business travelers need not bring an adopter since power outlets are fitted with universal sockets.
The fully-equipped kitchen is located next to the main door. It features a cooker hob and hood, as well as cookware so that guests can cook their own food during their stay. One-Bedroom Deluxe
The One-Bedroom Deluxe apartment measures 50.7-54.9 square meters with a separate bedroom, a separate living area, dining area, and kitchen. It also has an ensuite bathroom accessible from the kitchen and from the bedroom.
The living area offers a two-seater sofa and a single sofa where guests can comfortably watch movies and international TV programs from the flat-screen television. Smartphones and other mobile devices can also be connected to the TV wirelessly or via HDMI.
The dining area stands next to the living area. It features a four-seater dining table. For your dining convenience, crockery, cutlery, utensils, and glassware are also provided. The dining table can also serve as an alternative work desk.
The One-Bedroom Deluxe apartment has a kitchen fully equipped with a cooker hob and hood, an electric kettle, a microwave oven, and a bread toaster. Cookware and rice cooker are also provided. The kitchen countertop offers generous workspace to prepare ingredients for cooking.
There is also a refrigerator with a top freezer for storage of perishable ingredients and cooked food. Dishes can be easily reheated using the microwave oven. A water dispenser is also provided in the kitchen. Long-stay guests can also take advantage of the ensuite washing machine and dryer.
The bedroom is furnished with a king bed with two bedside tables. Desk-level power outlets are also available on either sides of the bed. The bedroom also has its own flat screen television and work desk.
The closet cabinet is also located inside the bedroom. There is more than enough space to store clothes for a week-long stay. Bathrobes and bedroom slippers are also provided. The in-room electronic safe, steam iron and ironing board are also housed inside the closet cabinet.
As mentioned earlier, the ensuite bathroom is accessible from the kitchen and from the bedroom. It features a single vanity with an ultra-spacious countertop. The toilet here is also fitted with a bidet spray.
The walk-in shower is fitted with a rainfall showerhead and a handheld showerhead. Hot and cold water is available. Premium cotton bath towels and hand towels are also provided.
Bath amenities are likewise provided in refillable pump dispensers, including shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Hand soap, as well as hand lotion, are available at the vanity.
