The One-Bedroom Suite with Balcony is the second to the highest suite category of Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort. With a total floor area of 80 square meters, the One-Bedroom Suite with Balcony has a separate living area, bedroom, walk-in closet, powder room, and en suite bathroom. The suite also comes with complimentary Executive Lounge access and benefits.
The spacious balcony overlooks the resort's sprawling garden and swimming pool. This spot is perfect for stretching exercises in the morning and admiring the sunset in the afternoon. Below is the view from our suite (5057).
Executive Lounge Benefits Served In-Room
Unfortunately, the Executive Lounge remains closed while Clark, Pampanga is placed under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ). In the meantime, guests with executive lounge access (those who booked an executive room or a suite like this one, as well as Hilton Honors Diamond members) can enjoy some of their executive lounge benefits in the comfort and privacy of their rooms. Hilton CleanStay Program
The Hilton CleanStay Program further enhances Hilton's already rigorous cleaning and sanitation standards, so that guests can have complete peace of mind during their stay. Here are some of the health and safety measures taken to prepare your room for your stay:
- Rooms and suites are fully cleaned including vacuuming the carpet, mopping floors, and wiping down all surfaces with hospital-grade cleaners.
- All switches and electronic controls, handles and knobs, major bathroom surfaces, and the remote controls are disinfected using products from Lysol, Dettol, Sagrotan, or Napisan.
- The room is made-up with freshly laundered towels and linens.
- Electronic keycards will still be issued upon check-in, but you are highly encouraged to use the Digital Key available on your Hilton Honors app. It works both on your guestroom door and elevators.
- The Hilton CleanStay room seal over the door means that the room has not been accessed by anyone since it had been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- A sanitation kit is provided to each guest. The kit includes a hand sanitizer, an all-purpose disinfectant spray, alcohol wet wipes, and two pieces of face masks.
- Housekeeping service will be available only upon request.
Living Area
The living area is furnished with a two-seater couch, a sofa, and a center table. A work desk is placed at the corner of the living room next to the door to the balcony. Complimentary wifi internet is available inside the suite and in all public areas of the resort. The living room is also equipped with a 55-inch HDTV with local and international channels.
The minibar is also located in the living room. In compliance with the health and safety guidelines set by the government, canned/bottled drinks will no longer be kept inside the mini-refrigerator. Guests can instead order drinks from the in-room dining service.
All suites and executive rooms here at Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort are equipped with a Nespresso machine. Complimentary mineral water in tetra pack carton, as well as Nespresso compatible coffee pods, are replenished daily. Complimentary Dilmah branded tea bags are also supplied.
The Executive Lounge remains closed while Clark, Pampanga is under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ). If you are a heavy coffee drinker, you will surely appreciate having your own Nespresso machine in your suite. You can just dial 0 if you need additional water, coffee pods, and tea bags.
Similar to the One-Bedroom Deluxe Suite of Hilton Manila, the living room of this suite also has its own powder room. It is fitted with single sink vanity and toilet with a bidet seat cover. I find this most convenient when you need to use the toilet coming back from outside your suite.
The living room has its own climate control panel allowing you to adjust the indoor temperature independently from the bedroom. A wall, with a sliding door on each end, separates the bedroom from the living area. The balcony is accessible from the living area but runs the whole length of the living area and the bedroom.
Bedroom
Similar to the living room, the bedroom also has a floor-to-ceiling window which allows plenty of natural light into the room. It is furnished with a king-size bed, an end-of-bed bench, two bedside tables, a coffee table with two chairs.
The bedroom also has its own HDTV which is a bit smaller at 49-inches. It also has local and international cable channels. Desk-level universal power outlets are available inside the bedroom and living area.
As with my previous stays at Hilton Manila and Hilton Bali Resort, I also had an uninterrupted sleep here at Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort, thanks to the Hilton signature Serenity Bed. The mattress has a well-balanced firmness and softness that evenly supports the bodyweight while adjusting to the contours of the body.
The bedroom has its own climate control panel which allows you to adjust the temperate inside the bedroom independently. During our stay, we kept the room temperature within the comfortable range of 20°C-22°C.
Ensuite Bathroom
Equally spacious is the ensuite bathroom. It is accessible from the bedroom and from the foyer (via the walk-in closet). For privacy, you can lock the sliding door at the foyer side and the two sliding doors connecting the living area and the bedroom.
The walk-in closet features two open-shelf cabinets. There are enough wooden clothes hangers for a week-long worth of clothes. Iron and ironing board are also stored in the open-shelf cabinet. There are also open shelves where you can place your folded clothes. The in-room safe is also found here in the walk-in closet.
The ensuite bathroom is fitted with double sink vanity with a double-wide mirror, a vanity desk, a separate bathtub, a walk-in shower, and a water closet. Top-quality cotton towels and bathrobes are provided.
The walk-in shower is fitted with handheld and rainfall showerheads. Water pressure was consistently strong during our stay. Hot water was available almost instantaneously and the water temperate was easy to regulate. When taking a bath or shower, I recommend that you pull the sliding door shut to keep the cool air inside the bedroom.
Verbena and Lavander de Provence bath amenities by Crabtree & Evelyn are provided in 24ml bottles. The complete set includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and facial soap. Dental and vanity kits are also provided.
In-Room Dining
We ordered in-room dining for lunch and dinner during our stay. In compliance with the government's health and safety protocols, the in-room dining trolley shall only be delivered by the doorstep of the room/suite. The space in front of the minibar is the best spot to set-up the dining trolley. In-room dining is available daily from 6:00am to 10:00pm.
