Tribe Comfort Balcony is one of the three lead-in guestroom categories of Tribe Bali Kuta Beach. This room category measures 28 square meters and is available in a king-size bed or two twin-beds configuration. It has a private balcony as the room category name suggests.
The room's design is both contemporary and functional. While the room is smaller in size, it is smartly planned with the essentials in mind. I particularly loved the semi-open bathroom design which makes the room look and feel more spacious than its actual size.
The floor-to-ceiling glass window allows plenty of natural light into the room. With minimal obstruction, the daylight freely flows from the windows to the bathroom. The room is equipped with a 49-inch smart TV with local and international channels.
Complimentary wifi is available inside the room and I am glad that no password is required to connect to it. The internet was fast enough to support video calls via Zoom and MS Teams. I was also able to watch HD videos on Youtube.
There is a sitting area next to the window. This armchair with a coffee table served as my work space during my stay. I also used it for in-room dining. A desk-level universal outlet and a USB charging point are available next to it.
My favorite feature of the room is the bed. The base has compartments where you can store your bags and other bulky items. The mattress has a well-balanced firmness and fluffiness. The bed and pillows are covered with premium linens.
Beside the bed is a closet cabinet with space to hang clothes and store folded garments. Bedroom slippers are provided here as well as a laundry bag. Do note that complimentary self-service laundry is available at the lobby level. Underneath is a mini fridge to store drinks.
Beside the cabinet is the minibar. Great news for coffee lovers, all rooms and suites here at Tribe Bali Kuta Beach are equipped with a Nespresso machine with complimentary coffee capsules. Complimentary bottled drinking water and tea bags are also provided and replenished daily. Underneath is the in-room safe.
The bathroom has a single vanity with a pole-hung mirror. Handwashing gel and lotion are provided in pump bottles. Dental kits are available in a niche next to the minibar. For privacy, the bathroom can be enclosed with two sliding doors.
The bathroom has a separate walk-in shower installed with wall-mounted rainfall shower and handheld showerhead. Water pressure was consistently strong during my stay. There is a separate toilet room fitted with a bidet spray.
Lemongrass-ginger scented bath amenities from Aromele, a Balinese brand of personal care products made with local ingredients from Indonesia.
